• Establish clear policies, procedures and standards for agencies to govern cyber security across DC Gov
• Implement a 3-year cybersecurity strategic plan to address technology risk management within DC Gov
• Train DC Gov technology workforce on security functions
• Educate DC Gov workforce on the importance of and their role in security

Increase visibility into technology risk and ensure cyber preparedness

• Create a central risk registry founded on a consistent approach to risk management 
• Establish a dashboard to map and assess risk and cyber preparedness in real-time to prioritize work and communicate to agencies
• Embed security and monitoring into critical  applications
